A. Ailuranthropy comes from the Greek words "ailouros" meaning "cat", and "anthropinos", meaning "human". Ailuranthropy is basically therianthropy but more feline.

A. Well, that is a difficult question to answer but I shall quote the generally accepted definition:

A. Loving a type of animal doesn't mean you are a therianthrope. You may love your theriotype if you are a therianthrope. Therianthropy is feeling like you are the animal. It's not having a love for that animal. Some therianthropes don't even like their theriotype(s) at all!

A. There are therianthropes who have mental illness, but therianthropy in itself is not a mental illness. If it was, I am sure that we would hurt even try to kill ourselves or others. Therefore, it isn't a mental illness.
